The Nurses' Bell

This photograph, kindly shared by Clare Ashton, was a team effort. It was taken on an historic day in 2002, the centenary of nurse registration in New Zealand. About the acknowledgement, Clare writes: "I am not sure who exactly should be credited with the image - it was my camera but our man at the Carrillon actually took it - the narrow beam up there was not considered safe for me to try standing on - it was very difficult to get the whole bell in the image... Sadly the pic doesn't give the scale - the bell is huge - it felt almost as tall as me". Nevertheless, worth having!
